Under NCAA rules, a "representative of the institution's athletics interests (athletics representative/booster)" is any individual who:
1) You have ever participated in, or, are currently a member of an agency or an organization promoting St. Lawrence University Athletics.
2) You have made financial contributions to the St. Lawrence athletic department or to an athletic booster organization of the institution.
3) You have assisted or are providing benefits (ex. summer jobs, family meals, etc.) to enrolled student-athletes.
4) You have otherwise been involved in promoting St. Lawrence Athletics in any way.
*Note - once an individual is identified as a "Representative of the Institution's Athletics Interest," the person retains that identity forever.Â
NCAA rules hold the institution responsible for all actions of its athletics representatives. Boosters involved in NCAA violations may lose benefits and privileges associated with the athletic program (e.g., ticket privileges or priority seating).
